This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

Let us pray that slavery in ANY form has seen its last day! Morover, even in our present day, forced cheap labor and servitude, as seen with migrant workers (particularly in agriculture), subjugates a people and renders them not truly or fully free to govern their own lives! Thank you, Diane, for your beautiful portrayal of a day in the life of a proud people that refused to give up on freedom then and is still fighting strong with dignity! Fave! L/F/FB!

Very beautiful painting! I used it to accompany one of my poems on Facebook Poetry, and I credited you as the artist! (If for some reason, you would prefer that I do not use it to accompany my poem, please let me know and I will take it down.) Keep up your painting, your work is amazing.
